Passito di Pantelleria DOC 2012
100% Zibibbo (Muscat d’Alexandrie). The grapes are harvested in several turns, to get both young grapes with high acidity and ripe grapes with high sugar. All graes are dried on wooden stands for three weeks. The feermanetation stopps becouse of the high sugar at around 14% Alcohol and 120g/liter sugar. The wine ages in small oak barrells.
Amber coloured sweet wine with an intense bouquet of nuts and dried fruits like plums and figs. Very dense but still fresh on the palate. Balsamic and ling lasting. A real divine nectar!
